Each week I have been posting an original blog review for each one of the top 10 market research blogs of 2011, which is where I reveal where a blog placed in the top 10!

What is this market research blog about?
Market Research World is partly a news aggregation site for market research related content. The site offers a wide variety of news articles because it uses dozens of feeds to grab the most interesting content. The news articles might be the main focus on the home page, but this website has a lot more to offer!

You might be a research buyer, researcher or student, whichever the site will help you in a number of ways.” – MRW

Just like the other blogs from last two reviews I did (Pew Research Center Scores 9th Place & NielsenWire Scores 10th Place), this website covers a broad range of topics from some of the biggest market research news resources.
What makes this blog good and what makes it bad?
I would recommend this site for all researchers because of the extensive amount of information it has, but not necessarily for the news articles. The news articles can be very interesting, but they are not exclusive to the site so they can be easily found elsewhere. The news content is updated often on the site, but it’s difficult to predict when to expect updates.
This is another one of those sites that isn’t technically a “blog”. Market Research World has tons of resources for new-comers to the industry, but it just doesn’t offer enough news that is market research industry specific. I recommend this site for market researchers that are new to the industry and need to get their feet wet with information, or for people working outside of research that want some general information.
